Job summary

Road Ready is seeking a consultative Solutions Engineer to help fleet, OEM, and leasing customers understand how connected-fleet technology can address their operational and business needs.

You will serve as the technical partner to Sales through presales, leading discovery, shaping solutions, delivering tailored demonstrations, and translating hardware, firmware, software, connectivity, and sensors into clear customer value.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in sales engineering or technical consulting in B2B technology.
• Consultative discovery approach linking requirements to business value.
• Technical fluency across SaaS, hardware, firmware, sensors, telemetry or connectivity.
• Deliver tailored live demonstrations for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong written communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Engineering or technical background for credibility with product teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery with prospects to understand workflows and requirements.
• Partner with Sales to shape technical strategy and address risks.
• Plan and deliver product demonstrations across TrackRR and Fus1on platforms.
• Translate hardware, firmware, software, and connectivity into customer value.
• Coordinate responses to RFPs/RFQs with Product and Engineering.
• Document requirements including sensor ecosystems and integrations.
• Support pilots, proofs of concept, and handoff to implementation.
• Ensure product adoption and success during evaluations.
• Troubleshoot objections and escalate to engineering when needed.
• Represent Road Ready at meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
