Job summary
Protech Automotive Solutions in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Automotive Installation Technician to install GPS, telematics, cameras, and fleet sensors across vehicles. This is a hands-on role for someone with automotive or electrical background who enjoys learning new technology.
You’ll install and support fleet technology and travel to customer sites for mobile installations, with a focus on safety, quality, and right-first-time work. ASE/I-CAR opportunities are available as you grow.
Qualifications
- Hands-on automotive/electrical/mechanical experience.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work around vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Install and troubleshoot GPS, telematics, cameras, sensors, and tracking equipment.
- Work on light to heavy-duty vehicles and fleet assets.
- Perform basic 12V/24V wiring and secure wiring for professional installations.
- Document installations with photos, device information, and service notes.
- Travel to customer and fleet locations for mobile installations.
