Protech Automotive Solutions is seeking an Automotive Installation Technician to join our growing team. This hands-on role involves installing and supporting GPS, telematics, cameras, sensors, and other fleet technology across cars, trucks, tractors, and trailers.

You’ll work with wiring, electrical systems, and diagnostics, travel to customer sites for mobile installations, and learn cutting-edge fleet tech. We value safety, quality, and right-first-time service.

Qualifications

• Hands-on automotive, electrical, mechanical, or installation experience.
• Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and basic diagnostics.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical instructions.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Professional communication and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot GPS, ELDs, telematics, dash cameras, sensors, and tracking equipment.
• Work on light- and medium-duty vehicles; travel to customer sites as needed.
• Perform basic 12V/24V wiring, including power, ignition, ground, and trailer connections.
• Route and secure wiring for clean, professional installations.
• Test connectivity, cameras, sensors, and system functionality.
• Document installations with photos and service notes.
