Job summary

Protech Automotive Solutions is seeking an Automotive Installation Technician to join our team. You will install and support GPS, telematics, cameras, sensors, and other fleet technology across vehicles and trailers, with travel to customer sites for mobile installs.

Qualifications

Hands-on automotive, electrical, mechanical, or installation experience.
Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and basic diagnostics.
Comfortable reading wiring diagrams and technical instructions.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Install and troubleshoot GPS, ELDs, telematics, dash cameras, sensors, and tracking equipment.
Work on light-duty vehicles, commercial trucks, tractors, trailers, and other fleet assets.
Perform basic 12V/24V wiring, including power, ignition, ground, diagnostic, and trailer connections.
Route and secure wiring for clean, professional installations.
Test GPS, cellular connectivity, cameras, sensors, and system functionality.
Travel to customer and fleet locations for mobile installations.
