Job summary

Protech Automotive Solutions is seeking an Automotive Installation Technician to join our team. You will install GPS, telematics, cameras, sensors, and related fleet technology on cars, trucks, tractors, and trailers, and travel to customer sites for mobile installations.

Ideal candidates have automotive, electrical, or installation backgrounds and enjoy learning new technology in a hands-on role. Eligibility to work in the U.S. with a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on automotive, electrical, or installation experience.
• Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and basic diagnostics.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working alone in mobile environments.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot GPS, telematics, dash cameras, sensors, and tracking equipment.
• Work on light and medium vehicles in fleet settings.
• Perform basic 12V/24V wiring and connections.
• Route and secure wiring for clean installations.
• Test system functionality and diagnose issues.
• Document installations with photos and notes.
