Job summary

Protech Automotive Solutions is seeking an Automotive Installation Technician to install and troubleshoot GPS, telematics, cameras, and sensors across fleets. You’ll work on light-duty vehicles, trucks, tractors, and trailers, performing 12V/24V wiring, routing and securing wiring, and testing system functionality in a mobile environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on automotive, electrical, mechanical, or installation experience.
• Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and basic diagnostics.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and use hand/power tools.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot GPS, ELDs, telematics, dash cameras, sensors, and tracking equipment.
• Travel to customer and fleet locations for mobile installations and projects.
• Test system functionality and document installations with photos and notes.
