Job summary

Protech Automotive Solutions is seeking an Automotive Installation Technician to join our growing team. This hands-on role installs and supports GPS, telematics, cameras, sensors, and other fleet technology across cars, trucks, tractors, and trailers.

You’ll use 12V/24V wiring, route wiring for clean installations, test systems, travel to customer sites, and maintain safety and quality on every project. Prior automotive or fleet experience is welcome; training and ASE/I-CAR opportunities are

Qualifications

• Hands-on automotive, electrical, mechanical, or installation experience.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and follow technical instructions.
• Comfortable working independently in a mobile environment.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot GPS, ELDs, telematics, dash cameras, sensors, and tracking equipment.
• Work on light-duty vehicles and fleet assets.
• Perform basic 12V/24V wiring.
• Route and secure wiring for clean installations.
• Test GPS and system functionality.
• Travel to customer locations for mobile installations.
• Maintain safety, quality, and right-first-time installations.
