Job summary

PepsiCo Inc. in Indianapolis is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Technician to keep our fleet of vehicles and equipment in top condition. You’ll perform preventative maintenance and repairs on light and heavy trucks, vans, forklifts, and related gear.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy with work orders, and using diagnostic platforms with on-the-job training provided. Independence and practical hands-on skills are valued as you’ll work a full day Mon-Fri, supporting on-time delivery of PepsiCo

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to reach, carry, push and pull.
• Certifications: Brakes, ASE Electrical, ASE Heavy Duty.
• At least 1 year of experience or training in hydraulic and air brake systems, after treatment and emissions repairs, driveline repairs, engine repairs, using diagnostic platforms, and welding.

Responsibilities

• Work with a high degree of independence while performing preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Utilize leading-edge technology and programs to complete preventative maintenance and diagnostics (training provided).
• Leverage and grow your skills working on a diverse fleet of automobiles, trucks (light and heavy), vans, and forklifts.
• Diagnose equipment and vehicle failures; disassemble, repair, and reassemble parts as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation in vehicle systems (work orders, vehicle records, parts reconciliation, and checklists) while adhering to all safety standards and procedures.

• Work Days: Monday - Friday

• Start Time: 2pm

• End Time: 10:30pm

Maintain and repair fleet vehicles and equipment so beloved brands like Pepsi, Gatorade, and Aquafina reach communities safely and on time.
