Job summary

PepsiCo in Aztec, NM is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Technician to keep fleet vehicles and equipment in peak condition to ensure timely delivery of Pepsi, Gatorade and Aquafina products.

You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics with modern tools, and work on a diverse fleet including light and heavy trucks, vans and forklifts. Training is provided and safety standards must be followed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid U.S. driver's license.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs (with or without accommodation).
• Must have Brakes, ASE Electrical, and ASE Heavy Duty certifications.
• Experience or training in hydraulic/air brake systems, aftertreatment and emissions repairs, driveline repairs, engine repairs, diagnostics, and welding.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs with a high degree of independence.
• Use leading-edge technology and diagnostic programs (training provided).
• Work on diverse fleet of vehicles including light/heavy trucks, vans and forklifts.
• Diagnose equipment and vehicle failures; disassemble, repair, and reassemble parts as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation in vehicle systems (work orders, records, parts reconciliations, checklists) while following safety standards.

Quick Look

• Pay: $28.30 per hour

• Location:Aztec, NM

• Work Days:Mon - Fri

• Start Time: 10:00 AM

• End Time: 6:30 PM

Maintain and repair fleet vehicles and equipment so beloved brands like Pepsi, Gatorade, and Aquafina reach communities safely and on time.

What You'll Do

• Work with a high degree of independence while performing preventative maintenance and repairs
• Utilize leading-edge technology and programs to complete preventative maintenance and diagnostics (training provided)
• Leverage and grow your skills working on a diverse fleet automobiles, trucks (light and heavy), vans, and forklifts
• Diagnose equipment and vehicle failures; disassemble, repair, and reassemble parts as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation in vehicle systems (work orders, vehicle records, parts reconciliation, and checklists) while adhering to all safety standards and procedures

Minimum Qualifications

• 18 years or older
• Valid U.S. driver's license
• Position must be able to lift up to 50lbs (with or without an accommodation)
• Position must be able to reach lift, carry, push and pull (with or without an accommodation)
• Position requires the following certifications: Brakes, ASE Electrical, ASE Heavy Duty
• Position requires at least 1 year of experience or training in: hydraulic and air brake systems, after treatment and emissions repairs, driveline repairs, engine repairs, using diagnostic platforms, and welding
