PepsiCo Inc. in Munster, IN is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair fleet vehicles and equipment so brands reach communities safely and on time.

You’ll perform preventative maintenance and diagnostics, documenting work orders and parts using company systems. The role involves lifting and operating around a fast-paced, on‑the‑go environment, with on‑the‑job training provided.

Formación

• Must be 21 years or older and have a valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Certifications: Brakes, ASE Electrical, ASE Heavy Duty required.
• 1+ year of experience or training in hydraulics, driveline, engine work, diagnostics, welding.

Responsabilidades

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs with independence.
• Use diagnostics and training to complete repairs and maintenance.
• Work on a diverse fleet including light/heavy trucks, vans, and forklifts.
• Diagnose failures, disassemble/repair parts as needed.
• Keep accurate vehicle system documentation and safety records.

Quick Look

• Pay: $38.72 per hour

• Location: Munster, IN

• Work Days: Monday - Friday

• Start Time: 10:00 AM

• End Time: 06:30 PM

Maintain and repair fleet vehicles and equipment so beloved brands like Pepsi, Gatorade, and Aquafina reach communities safely and on time.

What You’ll Do

• Work with a high degree of independence while performing preventative maintenance and repairs
• Utilize leading-edge technology and programs to complete preventative maintenance and diagnostics (training provided)
• Leverage and grow your skills working on a diverse fleet automobiles, trucks (light and heavy), vans, and forklifts
• Diagnose equipment and vehicle failures; disassemble, repair, and reassemble parts as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation in vehicle systems (work orders, vehicle records, parts reconciliation, and checklists) while adhering to all safety standards and procedures

Minimum Qualifications

• 21 years or older
• Valid U.S. driver's license
• Position must be able to lift up to 50lbs (with or without an accommodation)
• Position must be able to reach lift, carry, push and pull (with or without an accommodation)
• Position requires the following certifications: Brakes, ASE Electrical, ASE Heavy Duty
• Position requires at least 1 year of experience or training in: hydraulic and air brake systems, after treatment and emissions repairs, driveline repairs, engine repairs, using diagnostic platforms, and welding
