Job summary

PepsiCo is hiring for a fleet mechanic in Suffolk, VA. You will perform preventative maintenance and repairs across a diverse fleet, using diagnostic tools with on‑the‑job and classroom training.

The role requires 18+ years old, a valid U.S. driver’s license, and certifications in Brakes, ASE Electrical, and ASE Heavy Duty. Lifting up to 50 lbs and related physical tasks are involved.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ and hold a valid U.S. driver's license.
• Certifications: Brakes, ASE Electrical, ASE Heavy Duty.
• 1+ year of experience or training in hydraulic and air brake systems, after treatment and emissions repairs, driveline repairs, engine repairs, diagnostics, and welding.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as required.

Responsibilities

Quick Look

• Pay: $35.55 per hour

• Location: Suffolk, VA

• Work Days: Monday through Friday

• Start Time: 7am

• End Time: 3:30pm

Maintain and repair fleet vehicles and equipment so beloved brands like Pepsi, Gatorade, and Aquafina reach communities safely and on time.

What You’ll Do

• Perform preventative maintenance (PMs) and repairs with a high degree of independence
• Use leading-edge tools and programs to diagnose issues and complete repairs (training provided)
• Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs across a diverse fleet (light/heavy trucks, vans, and forklifts)
• Maintain documentation and records (work orders, vehicle records, checklists) using provided tools
• Support our safety-first culture by following all safety standards and procedures—and answering service calls as needed

Minimum Qualifications

• 18 years or older
• Valid U.S. driver's license
• Position must be able to lift up to 50lbs (with or without an accommodation)
• Position must be able to reach lift, carry, push and pull (with or without an accommodation)
• Position requires the following certifications: Brakes, ASE Electrical, ASE Heavy Duty
• Position requires at least 1 year of experience or training in: hydraulic and air brake systems, after treatment and emissions repairs, driveline repairs, engine repairs, using diagnostic platforms, and welding
