Job summary

PepsiCo Inc. is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Technician in Alexandria, LA to maintain and repair a diverse vehicle fleet ensuring brand products reach communities safely and on time.

You will perform PMs, diagnostics, and repairs with a high degree of independence, using advanced tools and systems. The role requires valid driving credentials, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and ASE Brakes/Electrical/Heavy Duty certifications, with on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• 21 years or older.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs (with or without accommodation).
• Certifications: Brakes, ASE Electrical, ASE Heavy Duty.
• 1 year of experience or training in hydraulics, air brake systems, aftertreatment, driveline, engine repairs, diagnostics platforms, and welding.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance (PMs) and repairs with independence.
• Use tools and programs to diagnose issues and complete repairs (training provided).
• Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs across light/heavy trucks, vans, and forklifts.
• Maintain work orders and vehicle records using provided tools.
• Support safety standards and respond to service calls as needed.

• Start Time: 5:00 AM
• End Time: 3:30 PM

Maintain and repair fleet vehicles and equipment so beloved brands like Pepsi, Gatorade, and Aquafina reach communities safely and on time.

What You’ll Do

• Perform preventative maintenance (PMs) and repairs with a high degree of independence
• Use leading-edge tools and programs to diagnose issues and complete repairs (training provided)
• Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs across a diverse fleet (light/heavy trucks, vans, and forklifts)
• Maintain documentation and records (work orders, vehicle records, checklists) using provided tools
• Support our safety-first culture by following all safety standards and procedures—and answering service calls as needed

Minimum Qualifications

• 21 years or older
• Valid U.S. driver's license
• Position must be able to lift up to 50lbs (with or without an accommodation)
• Position must be able to reach lift, carry, push and pull (with or without an accommodation)
• Position requires the following certifications: Brakes, ASE Electrical, ASE Heavy Duty
• Position requires at least 1 year of experience or training in: hydraulic and air brake systems, after treatment and emissions repairs, driveline repairs, engine repairs, using diagnostic platforms, and welding
