Job summary

Sysco Raleigh, LLC is seeking a skilled Fleet Technician to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a broad vehicle fleet. You will diagnose issues, service refrigeration systems, engines and electrical components, and ensure safety and reliability for operations.

The role requires strong leadership, the ability to mentor junior technicians, and clear communication with supervisors. Strong diagnostic and repair skills are essential for success in this fast-paced, full-time position.

Qualifications

• Heavy duty truck tech training and a HS diploma are required or equivalent.
• Experience in fleet maintenance with leadership is preferred.
• ASE, EPA and related certifications are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs to reduce downtime.
• Supervise technicians and mentor junior staff when needed.
• Diagnose faults in engines, transmissions, electrical and refrigeration systems.
• Document work on work orders and communicate findings to supervisors.
