Job summary

The SYGMA Network in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Fleet Technician to assist in preventive maintenance and repairs on tractors, trailers, and related equipment. You will learn diagnostics to prevent breakdowns and improve fleet reliability, safety, and cost efficiency.

You will document work in SAP, follow safety procedures, and collaborate with management to prioritize maintenance tasks while ensuring DOT regulations are met.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience with 2 Year Technical Degree OR
• 3 years of experience in Fleet Maintenance and Repair
• Proficient in inspections, preventive maintenance and repair tasks
• Familiarity with SAP or similar work-order systems

Responsibilities

• Perform required inspections and preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment to maximize safety and reliability.
• Perform maintenance repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems and more as needed.
• Document all work performed on Work Orders using standard formats
