Job summary

Fleetjobfinder Ely, NV seeks a skilled Fleet Vehicle & Equipment Repair Technician to diagnose, maintain and repair a diverse fleet of light to heavy vehicles and equipment.

The role requires hands-on welding and fabrication, proficiency with diagnostic tools and CAN bus systems, and the ability to plan and schedule tasks with minimal supervision. A Class A CDL and related certifications are highly desirable. Hours are 6am-2:30pm, Mon-Fri, with a term up to 24 months.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing and repairing a diverse fleet of vehicles and equipment.
• Able to repair light to heavy-duty vehicles and farm/construction equipment.
• Hands-on welding and fabrication experience in an agricultural environment.
• Proficient with diagnostic tools and data-entry systems.
• A Class A CDL and related certifications are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, service and repair District vehicle fleet and equipment.
• Document work performed using fleet management software.
• Order parts and schedule repairs efficiently.
• Perform preventative maintenance per manufacturer recommendations.
• Operate shop tools and welding equipment; perform welding/fabrication tasks as required.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and environmental health requirements.
