Job summary

River Valley Cooperative is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Technician to service and repair its fleet, ensuring high safety standards. You will perform brake inspections, diagnose with computer equipment, weld and fabricate, and handle hydraulics and electrical systems. A CDL-A is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• General knowledge in repair and maintenance.
• Basic computer skills.
• Valid driver’s license; Class A CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic service and maintenance procedures on fleet vehicles.
• Inspect and repair brakes; operate diagnostic equipment.
• Operate welding and fabrication equipment; perform A/C service.
• Repair hydraulics, driveline, electrical systems, and basic engine work.
• Attend courses to build knowledge in repair and maintenance; track and invoice repairs per unit.
• Maintain safe operations at assigned sites per River Valley Cooperative requirements.
