Job summary

FCC Environmental Services is seeking a Fleet Technician to perform truck repair and maintenance, run diagnostics, and support safety and customer service goals. You will collaborate with the repair team, maintain records, and ensure DOT compliance while upholding strict safety practices.

The role requires 2 years in fleet maintenance, basic welding/body fabrication, and proficiency with diagnostic tools. Strong attention to detail and dependable professionalism are essential.

Qualifications

• 2 years of fleet maintenance experience.
• Welding and body fabrication experience is a plus.
• Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals/refs.
• Experience with diagnostics software/tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs on trucks and trailers (minor and major).
• Conduct preventive maintenance (tires, oil changes, inspections).
• Collaborate with repair team to diagnose problems and plan repairs.
• Maintain accurate repair records for each vehicle.
• Ensure DOT compliance (brakes, inspections) and complete daily reports.
• Maintain inventory of equipment, parts, and supplies.
