U.S. Xpress, Inc. is seeking a Diesel Technician to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on our tractors and trailers in a well-equipped repair shop in Texas. You will service brakes, tires, fluids, and components, stay productive, and support safety with timely diagnostics.

Required are a high school diploma or equivalent, and a diesel technology diploma is preferred. Valid driver’s license and ability to use your own tools are essential, with DOT/Brake certs encouraged. U.S.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical Diploma from an accredited Diesel Technology Program preferred.
• Experience and tools may substitute as noted.

Responsabilités

• Performs basic preventative maintenance and repairs on tractors and trailers.
• Perform basic or minor repairs and inspections on brakes, tires, wiring etc.
• Check vehicle fluids (transmission, oil, windshield wiper, antifreeze, etc.).
• Change vehicle tires.
• Grease mechanical parts.
• Maintain high productivity and complete most jobs within or near SRT times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
