Job description

Employment Opportunity: Fleet Technician

Department: Fleet Services

Employment Status: Fulltime

Salary: CI$4,075 to CI$5,297 | USD$4,880 to USD$6,343

Overtime Eligibility: Yes

Work Environment:

1. Plant Area
2. Corporate – Workspace is primarily in the Administrative Building
3. In Field – Workspace is primarily Off Site at various locations around the island
4. Hybrid – Workspace is a combination of in the Administrative Building and in the Field or in the Plant Area
5. Satellite - Workspace is at one of CUC’s satellite locations

Responsibilities:

• Perform required maintenance and repairs by Altec Aerial Device and Vehicle Manufacturers Standards.
• Perform analysis of on-board diagnostics systems for Ford, Sterling, Freightliner trucks, Caterpillar, Mercedes Benz and Cummins engines.
• Prepare job orders, signing off job orders using Fleet Management System. Timesheets and Invoices as required in HTE and Executime.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with CUC's EMS and Safety Policies.
• Conduct site and job inspections of fleet vehicles as required.
• Other duties as assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

• High school diploma with automotive training & Altec Aerial Devices certifications, and/or a Community College associate degree or equivalent training or work experience.
• Minimum six years mechanical related work experience with emphasis on Altec Aerial Devices.

Key Competencies:

• Be able to use a PC for Altec Aerial Device software programs and Ford/Sterling diagnostic programs.
• Must have valid and current CI Drivers License Group 3 or 4 or willing to obtain one.
