Protech Automotive Solutions is seeking an Automotive Installation Technician to join our growing team. This hands-on role suits someone with automotive, mechanical, electrical, fleet, or installation experience who enjoys working with vehicles and learning new technology.
You’ll install and support GPS, telematics, cameras, sensors, and other fleet technology across cars, trucks, tractors, and trailers. If you’re an experienced mechanic expanding into fleet tech, your skills will transfer
Qualifications
- Hands-on automotive, electrical, mechanical, or installation experience.
- Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and basic diagnostics.
- Able to read wiring diagrams and technical instructions.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Professional communication and customer service is important.
Responsibilities
- Install and troubleshoot GPS, ELDs, telematics, cameras, and sensors.
- Work on light-duty vehicles, trucks, tractors, and trailers.
- Route and secure wiring for clean, professional installations.
- Document installations with photos, device information, and service notes.
- Travel to customer locations for mobile installations and projects.
