Job summary
Protech Automotive Solutions is seeking an Automotive Installation Technician to join our growing team. You will install and support GPS, telematics, cameras, sensors, and other fleet technology across vehicles and trailers, gaining hands-on experience with cutting-edge technology.
Ideal candidates bring automotive, electrical, or installation experience and a willingness to learn. This mobile role requires travel to customer sites and a commitment to safety, quality, and right-first-time
Qualifications
- Hands-on automotive, electrical or installation experience.
- Familiarity with vehicle electrical systems and diagnostics.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and follow instructions.
- Valid driver’s license with clean record.
Responsibilities
- Install and troubleshoot GPS, ELDs, telematics, and cameras.
- Work on light-duty vehicles and fleet assets.
- Perform basic 12V/24V wiring and test system functionality.
- Document installations with photos and service notes.
- Travel to customer and fleet locations for mobile work.
