Job summary

Protech Automotive Solutions is seeking an Automotive Installation Technician to install and support GPS, telematics, cameras, sensors, and other fleet technology across cars, trucks, tractors, and trailers.

Candidates should have hands-on automotive, electrical, or installation experience and be comfortable working independently in a mobile environment, with a focus on safety and quality workmanship. ASE/I-CAR certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Hands-on automotive, electrical, or installation background.
• Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and basic diagnostics.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Comfortable working independently in a mobile environment.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot GPS, telematics, cameras, sensors, and tracking equipment.
• Work on light-duty vehicles, commercial trucks, tractors, trailers, and other fleet assets.
• Perform basic 12V/24V wiring and connections.
• Route and secure wiring for clean installations.
• Test equipment functionality and diagnose issues.
• Document installations with photos and service notes.
