Job summary
RAKA Rentals - The Cat Rental Store in Omaha is seeking a Director of Fleet to lead the development and execution of the fleet strategy across the Midwest region. The role partners with sales, operations, finance and executive leadership to drive strategic investments, utilization, and lifecycle optimization for the rental fleet.
The Director will guide acquisition, maintenance optimization, remanufacturing opportunities and disposal programs to maximize lifecycle returns and support company
Qualifications
- Strategic leadership and fleet planning experience.
- Experience guiding asset lifecycle and capital investments.
- Ability to manage vendor relationships and negotiate programs.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration with sales, operations, finance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company's overarching fleet strategy and align investments with growth objectives.
- Lead fleet growth planning, market expansion, fleet mix optimization and capital allocation.
- Analyze fleet utilization, performance and financial results to guide decisions.
- Present fleet performance and opportunities to executive leadership.
- Build and maintain enterprise fleet plans for acquisition, maintenance, remanufacturing, and disposal.
- Develop standards and metrics to support fleet management across locations.
- Establish partnerships with equipment manufacturers and suppliers.
