RAKA Rentals is seeking a Branch Manager to lead daily operations in the Midwest, driving profitability while delivering top-tier service to customers. You will manage rental and sales activities, oversee fleet performance, and partner with sales to grow existing accounts and capture new opportunities.

You will guide a team, set clear expectations, and ensure efficient operations across rental, transportation, and service processes.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a strong team through effective hiring, training, development, delegation, coaching, performance management, and accountability.
• Set clear expectations and create a work environment that promotes teamwork, communication, accountability, and employee development.
• Oversee daily operations, ensuring rental, sales, transportation, equipment, and administrative activities are coordinated and operating efficiently.
• Partner with the sales team to develop existing accounts, identify new business opportunities, increase rental activity, and support revenue and customer retention goals.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and serve as an escalation point for customer concerns and complex issues.
• Work closely with Service Writers and service teams on equipment quotes, down equipment, repair status, and equipment availability.
• Monitor fleet utilization, equipment availability, and equipment readiness. Work with the appropriate teams to minimize downtime.
• Review financial and operating results, including revenue, profitability, expenses, utilization, and productivity. Identify trends and take action when performance is below expectations.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce operating costs, increase productivity, and improve the overall customer experience.
• Establish and maintain procedures and best practices that support consistent and efficient operations.
• Address customer satisfaction feedback and recurring issues, taking appropriate action to improve the customer experience.
• Hold employees accountable for company policies, safety requirements, operating procedures, and performance expectations.
• Work closely with service, parts, transportation, sales, and other departments to resolve issues and keep operations running smoothly.
• Represent the company professionally in the local market and build relationships that support continued growth.
• Support company initiatives while keeping the team focused on operational goals, customer needs, and employee success.
