FedEx Freight in Alabama seeks a maintenance technician to support our fleet of tractors and trailers. Under supervision, you will perform routine maintenance, assist with inspections, and document work performed to ensure safe and reliable equipment.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 110 pounds and operate shop tools. You will join a team focused on quality, efficiency, and safety.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic computer skills.
• Able to lift up to 110 pounds with assistance.
• Able to operate vehicles as directed.
• Able to enter/exit driver compartment safely.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Basic written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs with other technicians.
• Assist with shop setup, cleaning and equipment maintenance.
• Prepare electronic and manual records and reports.
• Assist with safety inspections and document findings.
• Move parts to/from the job site and install as directed.
• Assist with fleet maintenance activities.
• Maintain a clean work environment and follow safety policies.
• Operate power and hand tools as directed.
• Comply with laws and company policies.
• Perform other duties as required.
