Job summary

FedEx Freight is seeking a maintenance technician to support the vehicle fleet in Wisconsin. Under supervision, you will assist with shop duties, perform preventive maintenance and repairs on tractors and trailers, and help document work and safety inspections.

You will move parts, operate tools, and maintain a clean, safe work environment. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 110 pounds with assistance.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Able to lift up to 110 pounds with assistance/equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preventative maintenance and repairs with technicians.
• Set up jobs and maintain the shop area and equipment.
• Prepare electronic and manual records and reports.
• Assist with safety inspections and document the work.
• Move parts to/from job site and install as directed.
