Job summary

WM is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead technicians in the San Antonio shop. You will manage workflow, assign tasks, and ensure timely, safe repairs.

Responsibilities include overseeing daily operations, monitoring quality, coordinating repairs, reviewing work orders, and maintaining inventory. The role emphasizes coaching staff, enforcing safety rules, and producing regular reports.

Qualifications

• 4 years of relevant work experience in maintenance roles.
• Valid driver's license Upon Hire
• High School Diploma or GED (accredited)

Job Summary

Supervises and provides direct leadership for technicians. Manages workflow and assigns tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversees the day-to-day operations of employees in the maintenance shop.
• Coordinates and supervises all maintenance work and repairs, and monitors progress and quality.
• Reviews driver repairs and other maintenance requests and prepares work order documents.
• Performs mechanical duties as needed.
• Monitors inventory of replacement parts and restocks as needed.
• Oversees personnel including coaching, training, evaluating employee performance, and conducting disciplinary action as needed. Provides input into termination, compensation, and promotion decisions.
• Interprets and ensures consistent application of organizational policies and safety regulations.
• Creates and submits reports as necessary.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED (accredited)
• 4 years of relevant work experience (in addition to education requirements)
• Driver's License Valid Driver's License Upon Hire

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience as a technician on heavy duty trucks
• Experience leading a team
