Job summary

TheRide in Ann Arbor, MI is seeking a Fleet Services Supervisor to oversee maintenance, repair, and readiness of Authority vehicles and equipment. You will supervise Fleet Services Technicians and other staff, prioritize work, and ensure safety and maintenance standards are met.

You will coordinate daily operations, monitor quality, manage staffing and resources, and serve as a first-line supervisor responsible for employee performance, training, and labor relations matters.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a related field; 3 years of fleet maintenance or operations experience; or 5 years in related roles.
• 2 years of supervisory, lead, or management experience.
• Equivalent combinations of education, training, military service, and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance, repair, servicing, and readiness of Authority vehicles and equipment.
• Supervise Fleet Services Technicians and staff; prioritize and assign work.
• Ensure safety and maintenance standards are met and manage fleet-related operations.
• Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet operational needs.
• Monitor performance, provide coaching, and address labor relations matters.
• Promote safety, document incidents, and ensure regulatory compliance.
