Job summary

Transdev North America is seeking a Maintenance Foreman to supervise mechanics and service workers, schedule repairs, and manage outside labor while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance for a broad range of vehicle types.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, scheduling, training, and collaboration with Human Resources to maintain high standards and efficient operations across maintenance teams.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• CDL with Passenger endorsement; eligible for endorsement within 30 days.
• A- Rated Mechanic with ASE Certifications preferred; heavy vehicle repair focus.

Responsibilities

• Supervises mechanics and service workers.
• Assigns work tasks and evaluates completion.
• Monitors outside contract laborers and safety compliance.
• Schedules repairs and maintenance for coaches and fleet.
• Creates and reviews work orders; ensures timely completion.
• Participates in interview panels for maintenance positions.
