Job summary

Kenco Logistics, LLC is seeking a Service Manager for the Kenco Fleet Services (KFS) unit. The manager will lead technicians, drive shop performance, and ensure safety and quality across the service department.

The role emphasizes optimizing labor costs, achieving high utilization, and maintaining efficient billing while supervising day-to-day shop operations and coordinating with parts and service teams.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of related experience and/or training in a service environment.
• Background in fleet service operation or related field

Responsibilities

• Manage all technicians in the service department and oversee day-to-day activities in the shop.
• Aim for technician utilization at or above 85% and service billing efficiency above 75%.
• Control technician labor cost at or below 28% of revenue.
• Ensure training targets are met and uphold safety and quality procedures.
• Develop and maintain best practices for work order coordination between parts and service.
• Oversee timely completion of jobs and prompt billing.
