Job summary

Kenco Logistics’ Fleet Services (KFS) Service Manager leads the service department's day-to-day activities, overseeing technicians and shop operations with a focus on safety and quality procedures. You will drive utilization, billing efficiency, and cost controls while mentoring staff and ensuring timely completion of work orders.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of related experience and/or training in a service environment.
• Background in fleet service operation or related field.

Responsibilities

• Consistently attain technician utilization at or above 85%.
• Consistently attain a service billing efficiency ratio above 75%.
• Control technician labor cost at or below 28% of revenue.
• Assist in implementing and sustaining a recruiting program for technicians.
• Evaluate the performance of each technician against established performance criteria.
• Develop and maintain best practices for work order coordination between parts and service department.
