Job summary

Eagle Systems, Inc. is seeking a Fleet Safety Manager to oversee driver safety and regulatory compliance across our transportation network. The role requires collaboration with Terminal Managers, dispatch, and leadership to foster a proactive safety culture and improve CSA scores.

The position is in-office in Winchester, VA, with up to 30% travel for audits, coaching, and inspections; requires knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations and experience with telematics platforms.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, safety rules and DOT preventable maintenance.
• Experience working with owner-operator drivers.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred but not required.
• Experience with telematics and inspections/audits.

Responsibilities

• Oversee driver safety and regulatory compliance across the transportation network.
• Monitor Hours of Service (HOS) and ELD compliance to prevent violations.
• Coordinate onboarding safety training for drivers and Independent Contractors.
• Develop and deploy Maintenance Programs for Independent Contractors and perform tractor inspections.
• Collaborate with Terminal Managers, dispatch and leadership to improve CSA scores.
