Job summary

Feralloy is seeking a Transportation Safety & Fleet Manager to lead cargo securement and safety initiatives from the Iuka, Mississippi location. You will train, audit, and coach drivers, ensure FMCSA compliance, and coordinate maintenance with vendors.

Qualifications

Bachelor level or equivalent in a relevant field.
Minimum 5 years in transportation, fleet operations, safety, or related leadership.
Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and cargo securement standards.
Experience training, auditing, coaching, and safety observations.
Experience coordinating fleet maintenance and vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

Serve as SME for cargo securement and flatbed cargo.
Develop and deliver training programs on safety and compliance.
Conduct load securement audits and FMCSA compliance checks.
Coach drivers with a professional, development-focused approach.
Lead new driver onboarding for safety and operational best practices.
Conduct safety observations, ride-alongs, and safety meetings.
Investigate accidents and cargo securement concerns; implement actions.
Coordinate maintenance and inspections with vendors; monitor fleet availability.
