Qualifications

• Experience with FMCSA regulations and cargo securement standards.
• Ability to conduct training, audits, and safety observations.
• Strong communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience coordinating fleet maintenance with vendors.

Responsibilities

• Serve as subject matter expert for steel coil/plate securement and fleet safety.
• Develop and deliver training programs on cargo securement and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct load securement audits and safety observations.
• Coach drivers using a development-focused leadership approach.
• Lead onboarding for safety, securement, PPE, and best practices.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and inspections with vendors.
• Monitor fleet availability and support roadside assistance.
• Maintain safety, training, and compliance documentation.
• Travel ~25% to other locations for training and audits.
• Stop equipment operation when safety or compliance risk is present.
