Sherman + Reilly Inc. is seeking a Rental Coordinator to manage day-to-day rental fleet operations for heavy equipment, acting as the primary liaison between customers, outside sales, and internal departments from quote to billing.

The ideal candidate has strong customer service, logistics coordination, and comfort around heavy machinery, reporting to the Director of Sales. Office-based with field exposure and safety compliance expectations.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, supply chain, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in equipment rental, inside sales, customer service, or logistics coordination; heavy equipment industry experience preferred.
• Experience with rental contracts, quoting, and billing processes preferred.

Mansioni

• Deliver exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Process rental quotes, contracts, and reservations for heavy equipment in the rental management system.
• Coordinate delivery, pickup, and schedules with transportation/logistics, outside sales, and customers.
• Coordinate with Finance on pricing, discounts, and promotions per policy.
• Track fleet availability and utilization and flag conflicts or returns.
• Serve as primary contact for rental inquiries, extensions, off-rents, and billing questions.
• Document inspection results, damage, hour meter readings, and quotes if damage occurs.
• Maintain accurate rental records, contracts, insurance certificates, and compliance documents.
• Support invoicing, extensions, credit card payments, and billing adjustments with accounting.
• Assist outside sales with rental program questions and fleet allocation.
• Monitor expiration, renewal, and return logistics; follow up with customers.
• Assist forecasting rental demand and fleet needs with Director of Sales and Production.
• Maintain knowledge of equipment specs, attachments, and safe operating requirements.
