Job summary

Amazon's Middle Mile Fleet Management organization oversees a large and diverse fleet across North America. The Fleet Reliability Lead will own reliability outcomes across multiple asset classes, driving root cause analysis, vendor performance management, and MTBG improvement through rigorous analytics and program execution.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of design & innovation, research & development work experience
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a foreign equivalent
• Experience with design & innovation and research & development
• Experience in management of engineering design projects
• Experience using MS Excel, MS Project, and CAD software
• Experience in written and verbal communication with executives and non-technical leaders
• Experience analyzing large datasets and translating them to actionable business insight

Responsibilities

• Identify top contributors to asset downtime and develop targeted programs to mitigate failure patterns and improve fleet reliability
• Provide end-to-end program management — defining project plans, managing implementation activities, and developing processes, documentation, and communications for program rollout
• Author whitepapers to gain buy-in and provide status updates at milestones
• Identify key performance metrics and build a reporting suite for program management at scale
• Serve as SME for assigned assets and support internal customers and cross-functional partners
• Drive resolution of critical asset issues and lead deep dives for root cause analysis and corrective action
• Define KPIs and SLAs for core programs and track delivery against objectives for assigned Middle Mile assets
