Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an Industry Specialist within Surface Transportation to lead the Fleet Management program for Middle Mile assets, focusing on uptime, cost reduction, and a scalable Vendor Quality Audit Program.

You will define vision and roadmaps, collaborate with OEM partners and internal teams, analyze large data sets to identify failure trends, and drive corrective actions to improve asset health and MTBG targets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of design & innovation, research & development work experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or foreign equivalent.
• Experience with design & innovation and research & development.
• Experience in management of engineering design projects.
• Experience using MS Excel, MS Project, and CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Identify top contributors to asset downtime and develop programs to mitigate failure patterns and improve fleet reliability.
• Drive end-to-end program management — defining project plans, managing implementation activities, and developing processes and communications.
• Author whitepapers to gain initial buy-in and provide structured status updates as programs complete milestones.
• Identify KPIs and build a reporting suite for effective program management at full scale.
• Serve as SME for assigned assets, developing an A-to-Z understanding and supporting internal customers.
• Lead root-cause analysis and drive corrective actions to improve asset health and MTBG targets.
• Define KPIs and SLAs for core programs and monitor delivery against objectives.
