TCI Transportation in Converse, TX is seeking a Level 2 Reefer Technician with 3+ years of experience to join our maintenance team. Shift: Monday–Friday with a competitive hourly rate and solid benefits.

You will perform mechanical and refrigeration maintenance, keep ASE/608 certifications up to date, and work in a non‑climate‑controlled environment while upholding safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years mechanical / refrigeration experience required.
• H.S. diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational/Technical certification preferred.
• Specialized training in refrigeration components overhaul required.
• 608 certification required. Must stay current.
• CDL with air brake preferred; willing to obtain CDL.
• Basic computer skills (Word/Excel/Outlook) required.

We are looking for a Level 2 Reefer Technician with 3+ years’ Experience.

Shift: Monday through Friday – $28.51 to $37.00 per hour depending on skills and experience.

Minimum Requirements

• 2-4 years mechanical / refrigeration experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational / Technical or certification preferred.
• Specialized training and experience in the overhaul of refrigeration components required.
• ASE Certification preferred.
• 608 certifications required. Must keep certifications current / valid.
• Proficiency in the use of all necessary tools of trade required.
• Current CDL license with air brake certification preferred. Willingness to acquire CDL if you do not have one.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required
• The ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment is required.
• All employees are required to follow OSHA, Federal, State, Local regulatory and environmental laws.
