We are one of the leading fleet maintenance companies in the U.S., and we’re looking for an experienced Reefer Technician to join our growing team.
The Technician is responsible for the timely repair, maintenance, and diagnostics of Carrier and Thermo King diesel- and electric-powered refrigerated trailer units and auxiliary power units (APUs). This role ensures the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all refrigerated equipment. The Technician must demonstrate a high level of proficiency in troubleshooting, performing preventative maintenance, and servicing refrigeration and A/C systems on Reefer and APU units.
*608 or Universal EPA Certification is REQUIRED*
COMPENSATION: $34-$40 per hour, DOE! Competitive Hourly Pay - Paid weekly, every Friday!
SHIFT TIME: Tuesday - Saturday: 7:00am - 3:30pm
This role involves working in a mobile, outside and/or shop environment with exposure to dust, diesel fumes, noise, and mechanical materials such as oils and greases. Technicians must be able to perform essential job functions that include frequent movement such as standing, walking, climbing, bending, and sitting for extended periods, as well as lifting heavy objects and accessing tight or confined spaces. Technicians may be required to work at heights using ladders or elevated platforms and must be able to safely perform duties in various weather conditions. Due to the active work environment and movement of large vehicles, the ability to see and hear sufficiently to safely navigate the workspace is required.
