Job summary

8Fleet Inc. is hiring a Fleet Specialist in San Diego to support daily operations and keep the fleet ready for drivers at the start of each shift. You will manage keys and equipment, assist with vehicle readiness, and perform inspections to identify issues.

The role also includes basic troubleshooting of fleet applications and maintaining shift records. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and experience in logistics or fleet-related roles, with strong attention to detail and solid

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Previous experience in logistics, warehouse, or fleet-related role is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent verbal communication and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

Vehicle and key management at shift start and end.
Fleet readiness including basic cleaning and staging of vehicles.
Vehicle inspections before and after rides; report damage or missing items.
Troubleshoot basic issues with fleet applications and in-vehicle tech; escalate as needed.
Maintain records of key assignments, vehicle condition, and shift activity.
Provide administrative and logistical support to the fleet management team.
