8Fleet Inc. in San Francisco is seeking a meticulous Fleet Specialist to join our daily operations. You will ensure vehicle readiness, manage keys, inspect vehicles, and support the fleet management team with data entry and reporting.

This on-site role requires a high school diploma, strong attention to detail, good communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced logistics startup environment. Compensation is $19.75–$20.75 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Excellent verbal communication and professional attitude.
• Basic knowledge of mobile applications and ability to learn new software.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move around a vehicle yard, and pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle and Key Management: Distribute and collect assigned vehicle keys and equipment at shift start and end.
• Fleet Readiness: Assist with basic cleaning and staging of vehicles.
• Vehicle Inspections: Conduct pre- and post-ride inspections, log any issues or missing items.
• Technical Support: Troubleshoot basic issues with fleet applications and in-vehicle technology; escalate complex problems as needed.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate records of assignments, vehicle condition, and shift activity.
• General Support: Provide administrative and logistical support to the fleet management team.
