Job summary

Rumpke Waste and Recycling is seeking a Vehicle PM Technician to perform preventive maintenance on our fleet, including inspections, lubrication, fluid changes, and minor repairs. You will follow maintenance schedules, work in a safety-focused shop, and support senior technicians.

This role requires 1–2 years of vehicle maintenance experience; diesel experience is a plus. You may read diagrams and operate within various facilities, with occasional after-hours work as needed.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
• Familiarity with repair manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Ability to safely drive vehicles in and out of service area.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance of fleet vehicles in a safe manner following regulations and policies.
• Inspect, lubricate, and service fleet vehicles per maintenance schedules.
• Check, fill, and change fluids and filters; inspect electrical, air, and brake systems.
