Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Senior Fleet/Finance Manager in the United States South region to drive asset utilization and profitability. You will manage fleet movement, assess equipment needs, and lead KPI-driven decisions to optimize the rental fleet across branches.

Strong analytical skills and the ability to influence cross-functional teams are essential. The role requires 3–5 years of finance or fleet experience, proficiency in MS Excel and Power BI, and willingness to travel 25–50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required plus 3-5 years of financial or fleet management in the equipment rental industry.
• Extensive experience (5+ years) with Specialty Bulk Business Lines.
• Analytically proficient at driving progress and initiatives using key metrics for managing rental fleets.

Responsibilities

• Foster a positive work environment within branches with accountability and teamwork.
• Implement KPIs and decision frameworks to measure asset efficiency.
• Drive profitability through fleet utilization within the Region.
• Coordinate fleet movement between locations to maximize profitability.
• Lead selection and approval of rental equipment and bulk product specs.
• Analyze time utilization and rate achievement with Ops management.
• Review capital equipment requisitions to secure fleet (Transfer/Purchase/Re-Rent).
• Collaborate with operations to meet customer needs and expectations.
• Implement continual improvement across Business Lines.
• Promote accountability for company assets and resources.
