Job summary

Staker Parson Materials & Construction is seeking a Division Equipment Performance Improvement Manager to support the West Divisions' Equipment line and optimize asset lifecycle.

The role focuses on procurement/disposal, life-cycle optimization, and total cost of ownership, while collaborating with operations and finance to improve reliability, safety and performance across shop teams. Hybrid work with 60–70% travel is required.

Qualifications

• Ten years of progressive shop, equipment maintenance and equipment management experience
• Experience with electronic equipment management systems preferred
• Thorough understanding of Microsoft Office Programs
• Experience in construction and materials industry

Responsibilities

• Ensure employee-driven safety culture is present and effective
• Promote safe, effective, and efficient maintenance and repair practices
• Facilitate regular communication with Division Equipment Managers and Procurement Specialists
• Work with Business Units to ensure TCO is competitive or lower than Industry Standards
• Collaborate with Finance on CapEx budgeting and reporting
• Assist with multi-year planning, standardization and disposal plans for equipment
• Provide feedback on performance metrics and reports
• Identify opportunities to maximize equipment life while reducing downtime
• Support shop and field locations with guidance on repair and maintenance processes
• Drive innovation through new technology implementations
• Coordinate with National Fleet Operations on shop and equipment excellence programs
• Involve Equipment and Finance for accurate budgeting during winter maintenance
