Job summary

City and County of Denver is seeking a Parts Specialist Supervisor within the DOTI Logistics Operations. You will oversee stockrooms, manage warehouses, and coordinate with internal customers and suppliers.

The role requires extensive experience in automotive parts and stock control, plus strong leadership and time management. The position offers a life-long pension, 457B retirement plan, PTO, holidays, personal day, wellness day and health plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Five years of experience in automotive or heavy-duty parts stock, with inventory control.
• At least one year of stock ordering and purchasing experience.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Education/experience equivalency may substitute.

Responsibilities

• Oversee stockrooms and warehouses to ensure proper receiving, storage and distribution.
• Generate management reports using basic spreadsheet/database software.
• Interpret Purchase Order clauses to ensure correct pricing and vendor accountability.
• Interact with city suppliers to meet expectations.
• Develop work plans, assign priorities and schedules.
• Provide work instructions and support to staff; promote teamwork.
