Job summary

The Town of Castle Rock is seeking a Fleet Parts Inventory Specialist to support our vehicle fleet by managing parts inventory, ordering, and coordinating with vendors for timely maintenance and repairs.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED with vocational training, plus at least 1 year in fleet parts or related fields. A valid driver’s license is required; CDL preferred. This full-time role operates in a collaborative, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, plus one year of vocational training.
• Experience in fleet parts inventory or related field preferred.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to Fleet Technicians and Town departments for parts inventory and order fulfillment.
• Schedule and transport Town vehicles for outsourced repairs; work with vendors for timely repairs.
• Procure parts with the Fleet Support Technician, manage costs, and maintain inventory records.
• Use Fleet Faster and online ordering sites to generate work orders and purchase requisitions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the parts room and related areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
