Job summary

Colorado 911 Resource Center, Inc. is seeking a Fleet Parts Specialist to manage inventory, procurement, and distribution for the city’s Fleet Maintenance operations.

The role ensures Fleet Technicians have the parts and materials needed to complete repairs efficiently and oversees the city’s fuel system to ensure regulatory compliance and accurate fuel usage records. Reporting to the Fleet Manager, this position collaborates with the Fleet Coordinator on purchasing, vendor relationships, and

Qualifications

• High School Education or GED required.
• Over 5 years of formal increasingly responsible administrative experience.
• Supervisory experience of administrative support positions is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Procurement of all parts, fluids, fuel, and tools required to repair and maintain the fleet vehicles.
• Maintain the fuel site and ensure regulatory compliance through daily/weekly/monthly/annual inspections.
• Maintain accurate records of parts warranty for credits on defective parts.
• Maintain inventory for parts room, fuel tanks, and oil room.
• Provide parts and supplies for other city departments as needed.
• Create and maintain relationships with outside vendors to ensure fair pricing.
• Monitor work orders to ensure parts are accounted for and linked to labor lines.
• Maintain MSDS and safety placards for hazardous agents stored in fleet shops.
• Supervise/Dispatch shuttle driver/courier.
