Job summary

NorthStar Energy Solutions, LLC. is seeking a Fleet Parts & Inventory Coordinator to ensure mechanics and technicians have the parts, materials, and resources needed to keep vehicles and equipment operating safely and efficiently.

You will manage parts procurement, inventory control, vendor coordination, and daily transportation of parts throughout the DFW area. The role requires strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills, with a focus on accuracy, cost-effective

Qualifications

• Valid Driver License with clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent required at a minimum.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and inventory tracking.
• Excellent communication skills in multiple languages are a plus; bilingual abilities are preferred.
• Proven experience in service department environments; dealership experience is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures, and automotive repair techniques.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems.
• Demonstrated negotiation skills for procurement and vendor interactions.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for stock control and order fulfillment processes.
• Knowledge of marketing strategies related to automotive parts sales is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Identify and source parts for fleet maintenance.
• Pickup/deliver parts across DFW using a pickup truck, flat bed, or truck & trailer (CDL not required).
• Manage inventory control, stocking, order fulfillment, and replenishment.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to optimize procurement costs while maintaining quality.
• Maintain organized records of parts orders, returns, and warranties in Excel.
• Ensure safety compliance and uphold professional communication with dealers/vendors.
• Collaborate with fleet maintenance and service technicians to streamline operations.
• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records through regular audits.
