The role requires accuracy in billing, vendor coordination, and proficiency with inventory systems. The incumbent will also handle labeling, paperwork, and stock room duties in a maintenance facility.

Qualifications

• Forklift license per OSHA standards and ability to operate forklift.
• Proficient with computer systems and inventory management software.
• Experience in inventory control, stocking, and issuing parts.
• Familiarity with shipping/receiving procedures and vendor communications.
• Must follow safety procedures and handle hazardous materials as required.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Order, receive, stock and issue all inventory for fleet parts.
• Label new stock and process stock for all technicians.
• Prepare paperwork for notifications of special ordered parts.
• Run reports from inventory management systems
• Use finance system to generate purchase orders within budget.
• Update inventory in IFS and verify delivery receipts.
• Contact vendors for quotes and place orders by phone or online.
• Assist departments with parts needs and support road service requests.
• Perform stock room duties and operate related office equipment.
