Responsibilities include maintaining a warehouse inventory, processing requisitions, delivering parts, and ensuring a safe, organized environment.

Qualifications

• Graduation from High School or possession of a GED.
• Three to five years of experience in a related field, including general construction, warehouse operations, or retail inventory.
• Ability to operate inventory and warehouse system using standard software applications.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, receives, issues, stocks, and establishes a warehouse of inventory items.
• Requisitions supplies and equipment, including requesting bids.
• Maintains thorough and accurate inventory of all items within the warehouse.
• Bills parts to proper vehicles and/or accounts.
• Resolves issues with vendors and customers and makes necessary corrections.
• Purchases hand and power tools for use in maintenance operations.
• Coordinates services with outside contractors for maintenance operations.
• Delivers parts as needed.
• Issues tools, supplies, and equipment to designated personnel.
• Ensures a clean, safe, and operational warehouse environment.
• Operates a forklift, hand truck and various hand tools as needed.
• Provides guidance to new employees in similar positions.
• Keeps supervisors informed of work progress and issues.
• Attends meetings and training to stay current on relevant practices.
